Today we learned about the properties of similar polygons, and the first way to prove that two triangles are similar (Angle-Angle Similarity Postulate). We also spent some time going over commonly missed questions on the test.

Quadratic-Linear Systems of Equations

Solving and Graphing Quadratic Equations
Today we reviewed solving and graphing a quadratic equation. Even though you learned this in algebra, you are also responsible for knowing it for both the 8th grade State Test and Geometry Regents so it is important that we review this material. I have linked a few videos to help you if you are still lost after today's lesson. Tomorrow we will be solving quadratic-linear systems by graphing.

Lesson 1.1- Points, Lines, and Planes
Today we learned the undefined terms of points, lines, and planes and did an investigation on the intersection of lines and planes. Please make sure you know the correct way to NAME the various geometric figures that we learned today.
Your homework is to complete textbook P. 5-8 #1-22 ALL, and 28-38 EVENS.
